What does the course include?

This HSE approved course covers the role of the first aider, equipment, recording incidents and actions and how to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency, cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), unconscious casualty (inc seizures), wounds and bleeding, shock, choking and minor injuries. The importance of basic hygiene and preventing cross infection. Assessment is ongoing by the course tutor.
