Building Services & Electrical Installation
What does the course include?
This programme in Electrotechnical Technology is theoretical in nature, and is classroom based.
The Level 3 course is delivered over one full day or two evenings.
The course develops the skills already gained in the Level 2 qualification. You will learn the relevant science and craft theory and learn to use the relevant sections of the 17th edition of the regulations.
What do I need to get on this course?
To qualify for Entry to Level 3, students must pass the Level 2 qualifications in Electrical Installation.
It is a legal requirement that employers in the industry have qualified electricians working for them. Failure to do so will increase the health and safety risks and have a negative impact on reputation.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by a combination of online multiple-choice tests and practical assignments. A portfolio of evidence is also required.
Where does it lead?
Our Electrical installation programme enables students to progress to become qualified Electricians. Electricians are found everywhere; from installing wiring in domestic homes to maintaining crucial parts of the country’s train network.
