What does the course include?
The course will give you the opportunity to complete the Foundation and Intermediate Stages of the AAT Education and Training Scheme (levels 2 and 3) in one academic year. You will
attend college on three or four days each week and The course will provide you with a practical and theoretical understanding of accounting systems in the modern workplace.
What do I need to get on this course?
You will need 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Mathematics.
How will I be assessed?
You will sit the Level 2 exam in December 2010 and two Intermediate Stage exams the following June.
Where does it lead?
If successful, you will be able to progress to the AAT Technician Stage (level 4) or you may apply to join the first year of an Accounting degree programme at university. You may also progress to employment – the Association of Accounting
Technicians is the professional body for qualified accounting technicians/support staff working in accounting and finance functions and an AAT qualification is well recognised by employers.
