What does the course include?
If you are going to be 24 or older at the start of this course, you could be be entitled to an Advaned Learning Loan which will cover your tuition fees. If you go on to complete a degree, you won’t have to repay the loan for your Access course. Please click here for more information.
The course content prepares you to study a business-related course at university and includes:
- Economics
- Accounting
- Study Skills
- English
- Information Technology
- Mathematics and Statistics
You will study for one year full-time over 3 or 4 days a week.
What do I need to get on this course?
You must have a mature attitude to study. No formal qualifications are needed, but all applicants will need to attend an interview and complete a diagnostic assessment prior to an offer of acceptance.
Where does it lead?
The course leads to a business-related degree, such as Business Studies, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Marketing or Human Resource Management.
An increase in Finance and investment analyst (11%), Broker (10%), Insurance underwriter (11%) and Financial and accounting technician (10%) related jobs are forecast in Greenwich between 2012 and 2017.
