What does the course include?
This is a practical, work-related course on which you will study:
- An introduction to computer systems
- Uses of IT
- IT user support
- Networking
- Networking administration and web development.
What do I need to get on this course?
You must have 4 GCSEs at grade D or above including English and Mathematics, or a final grade of Merit in BTEC Introductory Diploma in IT at Work and GCSE English and Mathematics at grade D or above.
Where does it lead?
Progression is to the BTEC National Diploma in ICT System Support or to other level 3 programmes or to employment in the IT support industry.
