How much will my 'P' code General Interest course cost?
General Interest courses beginning withe a ‘P’ code are full cost courses and therefore don’t have any concessions or credit available.
Once the course starts, full payment is required, however an instalment plan can be agreed with our finance team up to the the start of the course.
How much will my 'MF' code course cost?
Courses with an MF code have the price displayed on their individual course page.
- There are concessions available on these courses for Greenwich residents who are on means tested benefits (Fee band 5). If eligible the cost will be £1 an hour for these courses.
- The hourly cost if you are not eligible for fee band 5 is £5.50 an hour.
How much will my 'M' code General Interest course cost?
General Interest / Non-Qualification Courses
Fees for general interest/non‐qualification courses beginning with an M code are calculated using the hourly rates below*:

*Some courses are priced individually. **You will need to show proof of benefits at enrolment, dated within 3 months of enrolment or accompanied by current bank statement. ***You will need to show your Greenwich Card at enrolment.
Proof of Date of Birth must be provided or a charge of £5.00 per course hour will be applicable.

NB:Where a General Interest course has an optional qualification available; the price for this is shown individually within the description.
Children and Young People Attending Classes/Workshops
Children and young people under 19 are not normally accepted on to adult courses. Exceptions can be made for 16-18 year olds not in full time education or work, In exceptional circumstances 16-18 year olds in full time education or work can be accepted at a course fee of £5.00 per hour please enquire for further details.
When do I pay for my General Interest course?
Students enrolling on General Interest courses can pay their fees in the following proportion:
50% at enrolment and the balance (50%) at the beginning of the Spring Term (January).
Fees for courses lasting for 25 weeks and over will attract a 5% discount if paid in advance at enrolment.
Methods of payment
We accept the following methods of payment: Cash / Cheques / Visa / MasterCard / UK Maestro / Delta / Electron / Solo.

We also offer a Standing Order option for students wishing to pay in instalments.
Refund Policy
Fees cannot be refunded unless a course is closed. The College reserves the right to close or merge courses if sufficient numbers are not recruited. Refunds cannot be made for any other reason.
For GENERAL INTEREST courses the amount refunded will be pro-rata to the remaining sessions from the date the course was closed. Refund requests will be processed within a minimum period of 21 days.
Refunds by the College will be paid by the way of cheque or credit card – depending on the method the fees were originally paid in.
