New students at Greenwich Community College attended the annual Freshers' Fair last Wednesday. It was an opportunity for new students to gather information about internal and external support and activities whilst studying at the college.

Exhibitors from various organisations such as Street League, Demelza House, Aspire and Volunteers Centre Greenwich attended this years Freshers Fair.

Students had the opportunity to talk to exhibitors, collect information and freebies. There were also internal exhibitors from the Media and Reprographic Office (MRO), Learning Resources Centre (LRC)and the Marketing department all provided useful information to learners. The MRO told learners about the services they offered, whereas the LRC gave information about the library and IT suite, whilst the marketing department conducted surveys about where they heard about the college, enrolment and induction. Learnrs were also encouraged to sign-up to become a legacy champion. Freshers Fair was a great way for students to meet new people, try new activities and explore new interests.

Freshers Fair 2010 welcomed new and existing students to the college and we hope they enjoy studying with us.
