After lobbying from colleges across the country, including Greenwich Community College, the government has changed its funding policy for adults on qualification courses.
This means that some qualification courses which we were previously charging a fee for are now free to adults on a range of benefits.
If you are therefore on the following benefits and actively seeking employment you may not have to pay any fees for your
course:
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Income Support
- Pension Credit
- Working Tax Credit
If you are affected by the changes there is still time for you to enrol on a qualification course starting in September.
Please come along to our final enrolment session on Friday 9 September from 12pm to 3pm.
