The received a talk beforehand on the ‘inner working’ of the London Assembly before getting a chance to see democracy in action. Greeted by Boris Johnson the Mayor at the lifts to the public gallery, Greenwich Community College students were officially recognised and greeted by the chair during Mayor’s Question Time. They had the chance for a plenary session with GLA member for Greenwich and Lewisham Len Duval.
