We had lots of fun. I discovered Joe Brown, the guitar legend. At Covent Garden there was free entertainment, Celtic music played by a group of Irish children with violins and flutes. I tasted Irish food cheese and bread, and the Roast beef and mashed potatoes which smelt really good.
I learnt of lot about Irish culture and values. Tolerance and respect are two of their most important values and St. Patrick symbolises them. St. Patrick called the “famous immigrant” was a Briton enslaved by Irish raiders in his youth. But after winning freedom he returned to Ireland to spread Christianity. His colour is green, one of the three colours of the Irish flag (write and orange).
