A few weeks ago I visited the British Museum where I enjoyed the First emperor of China exhibition. The story about the after life army is unimaginable. The monarch Qin Shi Huang apparently was afraid of death. He believed in after life and prepared a life-sized terracotta army, probably to protect him and to continue his conquest.
The British Museum is the first place in the world where the Terracotta Warriors have been displayed outside of China. The exhibition is now closed but anyone can visit the British Museum to see photographs of terracotta figures. The museum gives price reduction for students (with proof). So don’t forget to go there to learn about our world history.
