  • Greenwich Learns13th August 2010Thousands of adult students are getting ready for a new term’s courses at venues across the borough.

    Greenwich Council and Greenwich Community College are working in partnership with voluntary groups and other agencies to promote a wide-ranging programme of courses that aim to encourage post-school learners of all ages.

    The courses will be held at locations around the borough – and there is something for everyone.
  • Sherry Bakes Well28th July 2010Greenwich Community College Sugarcraft student Sherry Glasgow was named ‘Britain’s Best Baker’ after winning a cake-off as part of a national competition run by experience website ‘Red Letter Day’ to celebrate their 21st birthday.

  • Free courses for Thamesmead residents21st April 2010Greenwich Community College is working in partnership with Trust Thamesmead in offering free Taster and Level One Accredited Award courses in Community Development.

    Open to everyone aged 16+ who lives, works or volunteers in Thamesmead, the course would benefit those who lead or are a member of a community group, about to set up a community group or service providers who work with community groups.
