On Thursday 12 January Dinanah Sharma, the Nepalese Education Minister, visited the college to see the Nepalese Gurkha students who are studying here.
He went into two classes and met the students and teachers. The students told him how much they are benefitting from their studies and how much they appreciate their teachers, Rosemary Keogh and Tamas Laczko.
The students presented the minister and the teachers with ceremonial scarves and posed for photos. He was then whisked away for meetings with representatives of the local Gurkha community.
