The College has a well-developed Learning Support Service. Our aim is to help students succeed in all aspects of their course. Examples of the type of support on offer include:
- Help with reading, writing and spelling.
- Advice on planning and structuring essays and assignments.
- Help with maths difficulties.
- Dyslexia support.
- Support for people with disabilities or learning difficulties.
- Counselling & Mental Health Support
- Communication Support
The College is committed to providing effective and appropriate support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including those currently suffering from mental health problems or stress.
We can provide advice on issues such as access to College centres, specialist equipment and give students an opportunity to discuss any concerns or anxieties they may have about attending classes. Our support services can be accessed directly on the following numbers:
